Picked my 5th Sky Striker today. Good thing Cobrastickers.com has all those cool custom sheets.

What's funny is the Stickers are $30 for the Seekers.  I can't remember what they were charging for the Top Gun stickers.

I have a friend (use to be my bass player) who is a professional air brush artist. I've modded and sanded a Sky Striker jet and going to drop it off with him. It's just going to be black but it will be professionally done and have a clear coat so I don't have to worry about paint chips or smell.

Once I get that back I can go either the Thundercracker route or wait and see if Cobrastickers makes a Nightboomer set. If they make a Nightboomer set I sure hope they improve on the stickers. I never cared for how contrast the original Nightboomer stickers looked on the jet.

They are down to $16 now.

I bought another 3. I figure my son will be going to lots of birthday parties (he's turning 6 this summer) and dropping $16 on a buddies birthday gift is a good price and it makes a great gift to give.  ;D

16 bucks?! thats awesome...if i can find any.  Thats basically the same price as a 1 and a half single carded figure.

The Winners at Eglinton/Pharmacy had 5 Skystrikers, but only 2 were marked down to $16.  I had a similar situation there a while back with a couple of Cobra Eels.  One was clearance priced and the other wasn't.  When I took it to the manager he made a stink about how they came in at different times under different orders and that is why they were different prices.  Once I pointed out that they were the exact same product being charged different prices he had no choice but to change the price for me.

From that experience I didn't feel like going through the same thing on a busy Sunday so I left the 3 that weren't marked down (they were still at $29.99 and not even $23 yet).

Also, Marshall's now has them in stock as well, so hopefully they will mark them down soon.
