Hasbro Q&A - Spring 2011 - ANSWERS!
« on: June 06, 2011, 05:22:08 PM »

Joecanuck Asked:

Q1)What is the hole on Shadow Tracker's spear intended for?

Hasbro Answered:

Quote
A1) The spear has a hole on the side so it can be customized using the other weapons included with Shadow Tracker - the Long Knife and the 3-headed-mace.  This hole can also accept other weapons and accessories with the "small post/hole system" - they are sprinkled throughout the line.

Joecanuck Asked:

Q2)Why were the plugs/ports on the weapons for the recent POC vehicles  ( VAMP, HISS etc) designed larger than previous vehicles like the RHINO and Night Ops Humvee ( the difference is just a millimeter or two)?

Hasbro Answered:

Quote
A2) There are two systems of posts/holes for weapons/vehicle customizing: the 3mm hole and the "large Hex Hole"  The 3mm hole fits most backpacks and a great many weapon posts and accessories (POC Duke Urban Assault is a good example of this Peg system).  The Large Hex Hole is a system we started a while back on the Rhino and have employed in a great many vehicles since (POC VAMP, HISS, ICE CUTTER, HISS SCOUT).  The old Rhino and Night OPs Humvee were actually before this peg/hole system got universalized, and the weapons could not be "tweaked" at the factory to fit.

Nice set of questions.  I like how they mentioned the holes are sprinkled across the line.  Now I have to be more observant of what is on the POC stuff.

Not at the current time - not sure if they will, to be honest.

I asked for a copy at the con and they promised to send it. Haven't seen it yet. I will follow up.

Thanks Stealth.  Did anyone ask if and when Wave 5 and 6 will hit Canadian retail?

They said they missed the spring launch with retailers.  They are talking with various retailers right now to see who will take them.
