Cold Lake AB
« on: December 01, 2010, 05:46:30 AM »

At the local Wal-Mart, lots of Wave 1 Doom Cycles and Ghost Hawks, figures seem to come and go, but they are currently stocking both Wave 1 and 2 figures. At Zellers, lots of RoC Pit Rescue sets, a couple of the Target Exc. still floating around, lots of Doom Cycles and Ghost Hawks, and a few of the Steel Marauders and Cobra Deviants, again the figures come and go, wave 1 and 2 figs.

Not too bad out here, freakin cold though, the house sells tomorrow, and we will be finally financially stable for the first time in years. So I will probably be posting a want list again, along with a trade list, I have a pile of parts to go through. Good to hear from you G4MVP.

Update for Cold Lake, currently Wal Mart is completely devoid of all things GI Joe, and Zellers is down to two of the Target Exclusive sets, one Mech, and five of the Assault on the Pit sets, there are a few RoC Cover Girls as well.

Cold Lake Zellers, just got a restock of some Joe related items, Wave 3 Figures, Duke, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Shock Troopers, as well they have a couple of wave 1 vehicles, and still 3 or 4 Assault on the Pit sets, and Target Exclusives which at 34.99, and 29.99 can stay as shelf/peg warmers. Wal-Mart hasn't restocked much of anything toy related since Christmas.

Wal-Mart restocked finally with one box of figs, there are a couple of Dukes and Storm Shadows left, for vehicles two AWE Strikers with Night Fox, and two Ice Cutters w/Snow Serpent Officer. Zellers has a couple of Storm Shadows, and the same assortment of RoC stock that they just won't lower the prices of so I will buy it.

GI Joe stock has disappeared at the local Wal-Mart, however the pegs are still there which makes me think they will be getting more figures in soon. Zellers has some Duke pegwarmers, which they just raised the prices on to $8.99, no wonder Target is taking over. They also have a couple of Ice Cutters and AWE Strikers, as well as some left over 'Target' RoC exclusives that they refuse to lower the price on, but have about an inch of dust collecting on them.

Update 8 Dec 2011

Finally some new Joe stock, currently there are about a dozen HISS Scouts and Ashiko Armor Bikes, 1 Attack on the Pit set, about 5 POC Duke Peg Warmers, 2 or 3 of the 12" Heroes, and the best for last 4 Sky 'Fighters'. I may have to return for another Sky Striker.

Again after a long lull, there are some more POC figs showing up at Wal-Mart, Steel Brigade, Cobra Commander, General Hawk, Jungle Bat, and Blowtorch. Zellers has some of the new 12" figs, and a few HISS Scouts, and Ashiko Armor left.

Pretty scarce here, but there are a few Retaliation figures at the local Walmart. Our Zellers is closing so I fear my ability to get Joe items will be curtailed quite a bit.
