One week to go!

Renowned comic artist Bob McLeod, who, in addition to impressive comic career, was also the inker on the classic Marvel GI Joe run, will be joining us as a very special guest at this year's show!

Bob McLeod got his start working with Marvel Comics in 1973 and is perhaps best known for co-creating the New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. Bob has worked as a cover artist, penciller, and/or inker on every major title in the biz including Action Comics, Conan the Barbarian, Spider-man, X-Men, Thunderbolts, GI Joe and a whole lot more! Check out Bob's detailed span of work:

We'll also have some great exhibits at this year's show including some original GI Joe comic and toy packaging artwork!

Thanks for the update.  Now I just have to clean some shelf space to make room for more goodies.

I'll be bringing out some sweet Joe stuff to sell as well! Should be a great show!

And don't forget to bring those food bank donations for the door prizes as we have some incredible stuff available from our great sponsors! Steve Sansweet picked out some awesome vintage collectibles, including some MOC Droids and Ewoks, from the Lucasfilm Archives, Hasbro Canada sent us 6 different prize packs from their Marvel, Transformers, Star Wars, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop and Strawberry Shortcake lines, Warner Brothers and Paramount will be giving out prize packs and screening passes for Clash of the Titans and Iron Man 2 and that's just what we know about! There are still more awesome door prizes coming so make sure you bring your donations to the Edmonton Food Bank!
